Kyuquot Inn provides comfortable, clean, year-round waterfront accommodation situated in the finest fishing and kayaking region of the world.
Located on the northwest coast of stunning Vancouver Island in historic Walter’s Cove, just 10 minutes by boat from salmon, halibut, pristine sandy beaches, and giant rafts of sea otters, we are a short paddle from the Bunsby Islands.
We offer free sheltered deep moorage with your cabin rental. Our gently sloping, fine gravel beach is a perfect launching spot for your kayaks.


3-bedroom house – includes kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and a wrap around deck. Sleeps 8 (4 double/twin bunk beds). $595 per night plus tax.

1-bedroom cabin – includes kitchen, full bathroom, and a spacious deck. Sleeps 4 (2 double/twin bunk beds). $325 per night plus tax.

Charming 1-room cabin – includes kitchen and a full bathroom. Sleeps 2 (1 double/twin bunk bed). $195 per night plus tax.

By Road/Water Taxi: Enjoy a scenic ferry ride from the mainland at
Tsawassen or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo. Drive north on Hwy 19, the
main island highway, and turn off just past marker 320 onto an unpaved
logging road marked Zeballos/Fair Harbour. At Fair Harbour, board your
reserved water taxi for a magnificent 40 minute boat ride through
mountainous waterways to Kyuquot.

By Air: Air Nootka has regularly scheduled flights from Gold River to
Kyuquot. There are also small charter airlines (Vancouver Island Air, Kenmore Air) who fly to Kyuquot.
By Sea: The Uchuck III sails from Gold River to Kyuquot every Thursday.
The trip takes 8 hours depending on how many stops are made en route.
